Oatmeal M&M Cookies

I had an excuse to make dessert, so I said yes.

Oatmeal M&M Cookies - the winner!

1 c         softened butter

2 c         molasses brown sugar

3            small eggs

3 1/3 c   oats

2 c         flour

1 tbs      cinnamon

1 tsp      baking soda

1/2 tsp   salt

2 c         mini M&M's

Heat oven to 325F

Blend butter and sugar together. Beat in eggs. In separate bowl combine all the dry ingredients (except the M&M's). Add the dry ingredients to wet ingredients and then mix in the M&M's. 

Roll the dough into balls and place on the pan (do you really have to say that?!?!?). Bake them for 10-12 minutes and then, when done, let them cool for 2 minutes on the rack - wow.

When your brother is being helpful making lunch and cutting off the crusts of bread right by a bag of M&M's, something delicious is bound to happen either on accident or on purpose. :)
