A Surprise ~ Part Two

(This is a continuation of this post.)

As we turned onto our road, Elsie's car turned in right behind us. Susanna was surprised and asked why Elsie had come, "Well," said I, "Elsie said that Victoria wanted to know if Grace was doing anything... maybe it's something about that..." We all got out of the cars and greeted each other. I then invited Elsie in to have some tea and some cupcakes that Susanna and I had, by chance, just decorated that morning.

When we got inside and the other ladies shouted surprise, Susanna was, I'm glad to say, surprised. We then had tea, opened gifts,

skyped Mikaela (Susanna's older sister),







played games,

Find the Bubble Gum underneath the whipped cream and be the first to blow a bubble.

And, of course, Musical Chairs

took pictures,

and,

well, 

more pictures.

It was a great time of fun and fellowship. Seriously, she should all follow Pooh Bear's example and just have "Because" parties.

Crepe Thursday

Yesterday, I got to have a friend over whom I haven't seen for sometime (quite silly especially since we just live 10min away from each other). When Adelynn went down for her nap, we opened operation Crepes. Lynnae had made them once or twice many moons ago, and I don't remember making them ever - but I do remember EATING them!

The preparation...

Crepes:

1 cup of whole wheat flour

1 cup of milk

2 eggs

2 tbs of butter

Filling:

One Red Delicious Apple sliced

2 Tbs lemon juice

Cinnamon Sugar to taste

Caramel - to dress crepes

And then we cleaned up the kitchen so that it would like nicer than it did when we left. :)
